Dr. Michael Pearce is a dentist who has been practicing in Washington D.C. for more than 40 years. Dr. Pearce is highly experienced in many aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic (crowns, teeth whitening & veneers), advanced restorative & reconstructive, and endodontics (root canal therapy).
Dr. Pearce earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at American University and his dental degree at Howard University College of Dentistry. He then continued on with an internship/residency at the General Hospital at Fort Ord in Monterey, CA.
Dr Pearce also went for more advanced training in endodontics and advanced restorative & reconstructive dentistry at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. In addition, Dr Pearce was a faculty member at Georgetown University School of Dentistry as an associate clinical professor between 1978 and 1990.
Dr. Pearce is certified by the National Board of Dentistry and the Northeast Regional Board of Dentistry. Dr. Pearce is also a founding member and past-president of the Washington Dental Science Study Club, and is an active professional member of the American Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Maimonides Dental Study Club and the Pennick Endodontic Study Club. Dr. Pearce continues to be active in post graduate continuing education in order to stay current with the latest technologies and procedures.
