Ruchie K. Chadha was born and raised in Adrian, Michigan. Her parents, immigrants from India, instilled in her the importance of education, diligence, and hard work throughout her childhood. This work ethic translated into a formidable academic career. After graduating as class valedictorian, Ms. Chadha continued her education at the University of Michigan. There, she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts double-majoring in History and South Asian Studies. After completing an internship with the U.S. Department of State in 2005, Ms. Chadha enrolled at Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she pursued and attained her Juris Doctorate.

As an attorney in Chicago, Ms. Chadha has a general law practice with a focus on Family Law. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, and Indian American Bar Association. Additionally, she volunteers as a legal advocate with Apna Ghar, an organization designed to help immigrant survivors of domestic violence abuse, obtain divorces from their abusers.

Ms. Chadha is a young, dedicated, and compassionate attorney who is not afraid to step outside her comfort zone in order to achieve results for her clients. She is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and English. Her diverse background combined with her positive attitude and drive make her an asset to any client as an attorney.
