The Taghdisi family descends from the prominent rug merchant Haji Borujerdi, who famously commissioned the building of the Borujerdi-Ha House in Kashan, Iran. The House is no longer a private residence, but a museum, testament to the Taghdisi familyÂ’s skill and world-renowned reputation. Meet the Business Owner: Alan Taghdisi Alan, the seventh generation member of the Taghdisi family, serves as President of Oriental Rug Bazaar and is dedicated to bringing world-class rugs to Houston, TX. He is pictured below with his wife, Anooshea, while in attendance at a cocktail party honoring the new medical director of Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center: Gastroenterology. Alan is dedicated to staying involved in the important Houston Medical community. During September of last year, he supported the efforts of the Texas Children's Pavilion for Women.
