For more than 50 years, the family-run S & S Overhead Door Company has been providing proud service to the Boston suburbs. The company was founded in the early 1950s by Vincent Scalese, who gained experience in door installation and repair while working for a New England commercial garage door service. Vincent founded a company that sells, services, and installs residential garage doors and electric operators as a result of the post-war housing boom in the western Boston area. Gary, Vincent's son, assumed leadership of S & S Overhead Door in 1977 and ran the family company profitably for the next several decades. Gary's son Justin joined the company in the same manner as his forefathers, guaranteeing its future. Even though Gary left the industry in the early months of 2019, he still contributes significantly to the office. For more than 50 years, S & S Overhead Door has been a reputable, family-run company that opens doors for the neighborhood.
