Create a Formula 1 look for off-road motorcycles that allows anyone, from a billion dollar business, to a local pizzeria, to a business owner looking to get promoted on their own bike, to get involved in the sport of motocross and supercross. John Slater, founder and CEO of SRP International, wanted to get involved at the highest level in the sport, but encountered a major problem. Whenever he approached a business, there was no place to properly present his product on off-road motorcycles. He knew that if something did not happen, motocross and supercross (dubbed the fastest growing motorsport in the world) would slowly fall back into the shadows of big American companies. He created Slater Skins and then created the Slater Shield, and teamed up with the billion dollar pet food company Blue Buffalo.
