Dr. Wang specializes exclusively in periodontics and dental implant surgery. Having earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University, respectively, he went on to study dental surgery at New York University’s College of Dentistry where he became a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He continued his training at the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2003, focusing on regenerative grafting procedures and dental implant surgery and, in 2005, having made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements for his specialty, he was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
As an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, Dr. Wang remains well informed of advancements made in periodontal technique and technology. He specializes in the use of Laser Periodontal Surgery (LANAP) using the FDA-approved PERIOLASE laser system.
