Breezy Point is a family business operated in 1960 by Ralph Giammattei. After leaving the military at the age of 25, Ralph asked his father to borrow $ 10,000 to buy a small 2-bay garage. After 10 years of hard work, Ralph demolished the building and built a 6-bay garage. As the business grew, Ralph expanded his activities and added 2 other buildings which now integrate the repair / towing activities of trucks and auto body. Since Ralph's "semi-retirement," he passed on his legacy from the auto repair shop to his son-in-law Gary Koripsky, who has been at Breezy Point for over 38 years. Gary and his wife Gail run the auto repair and emissions shop and the full-service gas station. With their two daughters, they have always lived in Stratford. Ralph's son Jim has been at Breezy Point for over 20 years and owns and operates the Truck & Towing Dept. Ralph's nephew, Tom Therriault, owns and operates the Auto Body Shop. He has also worked for Breezy Point for over 37 years. In business, you are only as good as the people who work for you. It is with great pride that I work with truly qualified people who share the same convictions. The technicians are all ASE certified and all are state certified emission repair specialists. Our clientele ranges from individual clients to entire families to commercial fleets. The types of vehicles we service and service include most foreign and domestic cars and trucks up to 10,000 pounds gross weight. We pretty much cover the full range of diagnostics and repairs. We just want people who don't know our business to know us a bit, as we are a "one stop shop" and hope you can keep us in mind if you need us.
